This Video Brought Me To Tears ... Until The Last 15 Seconds

This sad vignette about a Pennsylvania mother of eight is indeed beyond sad. Her story is that she got all worked up, beaten up, knocked down and put down on Jan. 6, 2021 during the riot at our nation's Capitol. Sadder still, this alleged patriot will start a five-year prison term on Monday for her role in punching out a window with a rather large ice axe and then proceeding to help others crawl through it to enter the Capitol.

She is heart-broken that she will be separated from her brood of eight kids, plus another number of grandchildren. Since she has been on home confinement awaiting sentencing, she's already done three years of some form of punishment and thinks enough is enough.

And this is where the reporter asks something about moving on and does the future convict, Rachel Powell, now realize that President Biden actually won the contest back in 2020? No, she says. Trump won and she is certain that elections have been stolen before.

And this is what is so dangerous. For some, they will never accept the reality of the 2020 election even to the point of going to prison while still in denial. And finally, 60 of 61 courts ruled back in 2021 that Biden legally won and a number of the judges that came to that obviously correct conclusion were appointed by Donald J. Trump.

I'm sorry Mrs. Powell, not for you but your kids and grandkids who will suffer during your absence. But I'll bet if you would show a little contrition, as well as a bunch of common sense, you might be reunited with them a lot sooner than five years.

But no, your loyalty is to conspiracy theorists who revel in trying to destroy our democracy and that's bad enough. The real tragedy is your addiction to a man who has no loyalty to anyone or anything except himself.

However, since Trump is now selling the silly and fraudulent argument that you will be known as a hostage, not an inmate, maybe you think he'll get you home if he should be elected to a second term.

Don't hold your breath. He's moved way on from you and your fellow convicts from Jan. 6^th because first he's got some getting even to do and that should take awhile.

Be safe, be good and be respectful in prison. After six months, ask for leniency and throw yourself on the mercy of the court and hope the judge has more common sense than you have displayed.

One other thing. Admit Biden is president. Admit you are a dummy and admit Trump is the greatest danger to this country since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1963.

And about that ice axe that mysteriously appeared in your hands … Antifa, Little Green Men From Mars, Nancy Pelosi, George Soros? Or maybe you brought it in case some Socialist Democrat attacked you while you were peacefully protesting as allowed by the 1st Amendment to our Constitution.
